Buy a Bike

Perhaps the most difficult question for all candidates bike buyers are required to answer. On the right answer appears significantly and the relationship created between the buyer and the object. Several members and friends of Cannondale Club ask me what bike to buy. While this question shows that is not difficult to answer,  is particularly difficult and in case we have already buy our bike does not change.
The prospective buyer should answer the following questions:

1st question: What is the use of my bike?
Work, walk, relaxed, exercise, shopping are some of the first responses.

2nd question: In what ground will I drive?
This is a critical question. Many try to include in their response as many possible situations that their bike moving everywhere, eg soil. Then declare and percentage of their moves 90% road and 10% in soil. With this answer they feel that:

1.- If their answer is road they should buy road bike, and so declare mixed use distancing from road bikes that are awesome for young cyclists and are for race use products.

2.- A group of people thinking that they don
΄t have much money and therefore they can΄t buy two bikes, one for road and one for mountain and thus selects the intermediate type (mountain & asphalt) on a bicycle.

3.- They think that bicycles scrollable off road is more robust than the others, and then they choose them as a result.

If in the first two questions, the answers are only roads, then departing from  Mountain category and a intermediate category (between race and mountain), created last years, Trekking.

We focus on road, Urban, Recreation, Fitness, or if space is a problem Folding bikes.

But if the answer is that I also want to go off road routes, except urban movements, then buy a Trekking Bike.

There are three other types of targeted buyers.
1.- Those who embark to buy a specific bicycle eg road
2.- Those who begin to buy Mountain bike
3.- People involved with Cyclocross who are going to buy a special road bike (in our country this category almost there).

In the above table we can see kinds of bicycles and where they can move.

Regarding them who answer road bikes the only thing that remains is to choose with the help of economic and aesthetic criteria the company and model.
The same applies to those who answered Mountain bike.

For the third category we will not deal very much because particularly in our country are not very popular. All big companies have bikes for this category such as Cannondale SuperX & CAADX.

Next step which many forget or wrongly surpass is finding the size of the bicycle. Not all bikes are in the same size (frames) or all wheels are not the same. When you buy a bike you can
΄t use only color criteria. The right store will make all measurements required. Then they will help us to choose between bikes of a bicycle company, what is the most appropriate and in what size, eg Cannondale Road bike will show us Super Six Evo, Synapse, CAAD8, CAAD10 ... .. If we decide to buy Synapse as a less demanding bike than Evo, then depending on the amount you can spend on that buy you can choose between many bikes from the most expensive Synapse Hi-Mod Black Inc. Disc till Synapse Claris 8. The main differences between these two models are in the backbone of construction material (frame) the first is made of carbon fiber and the second of aluminum. Also, the first composed of regional best series ie. Speed, brakes etc.

Now we have clearly in mind that since we honestly answer the above questions after making the measurements provided we can buy our dream bike with relative safety and without any risk of setting us a problem. The rest is your own affair.
